Q:
What are the correct network settings for my Comporium FTTP connection?
Answer:
Customers should set their TCP/IP properties up for DHCP (default setting) to accept an IP address automatically. Static IP customers will need to enter their static IP information in Network Settings. Customers with a router will need to login to the router interface to configure this setting.

Q:
Why doesn't FTTP service have a "modem"?
Answer:
FTTP (Fiber to the Premise) utilizes a fiber optic gateway on the side of a residence/business. This converts optical packets into Ethernet packets and eliminates the need for an on-site modem.
